Linkki buses
Linkki drivers will advise and guide customers to the best of their ability. Due to schedule constraints, drivers rarely have the opportunity to provide detailed guidance and advice. If you need more detailed advice and guidance, please visit a Linkki service point.
Linkki mentor
A Linkki mentor provides guidance to new public transport users. This is voluntary work, so meetings are arranged according to the Linkki mentor's schedule. Guidance sessions must therefore be arranged in advance. Ask for the Linkki mentor's contact details at the Linkki service point (Asemakatu 7) and arrange a meeting with her. The service is free of charge; you only pay for your own travel ticket.
Linkki-kummi provides guidance and advice on travel-related matters, such as timetables, routes, tickets, payment, and other issues that may cause concern. A single trip with Linkki mentor serves as a one-time lesson. Linkki mentor cannot offer regular or continuous travel companionship. The Linkki mentor service is only available in Finnish.
The person being guided must be able to move around independently. The Linkki mentor does not act as a personal assistant, so the person being guided must be able to get to the bus stop and into the bus on their own and take care of their own belongings, such as carrying shopping bags.
