Linkki buses will operate according to the summer schedules from June 1 to August 11, 2026. The names and numbering of the Linkkikeskus stops will change when the summer schedule takes effect.

Not all routes will operate during the summer season; routes 1M, 2V, S2M, 3K, 4K, 5K, 15K, 16M, 22M, 26, 31, 34, 38K, 38R, 39, and 40 will be suspended for the summer.

Summer schedules and routes are conveniently available via the online service on either a smartphone or computer.

Traditional timetable booklets are still available at distribution points

Timetable booklet distribution points are

  • Linkki Service Point (Asemakatu 7)
  • R-kiosks in Jyväskylä and Laukaa
  • Äänekoski City Hall, library, and Niskanen Oy (no later than the week beginning June 1)
  • Municipal halls and libraries in Laukaa, Muurame, Toivakka, Hankasalmi, and Petäjävesi (no later than the week beginning June 1)

A digital version of the timetable booklet is available as a PDF file on the Linkki website.

New stop arrangements at the Linkkikeskus

The stop arrangements at the Linkkikeskus on Vapaudenkatu will change starting June 1. Stops will be consolidated, and there will be five stops at the Linkki Center instead of nine. As part of these changes, the stop names will be prefixed with “Linkki Center”:

  • Keskusta 1 + Keskusta 2 -> Linkkikeskus 1
  • Keskusta 3 + Keskusta 4 -> Linkkikeskus 2
  • Keskusta 5 -> Linkkikeskus 3. The stop is located in front of Restaurant Rosso
  • Keskusta 6 + Keskusta 7 -> Linkkikeskus 4
  • Keskusta 8 + Keskusta 9 -> Linkkikeskus 5

The stop arrangements are being made because the number of routes passing through Linkkikeskus has increased. These changes will make it easier to stop at the bus stops during peak hours, which will not only reduce the workload on drivers but also improve safety for bus stop users. The impact of the changes will be more clearly visible next August, when traffic volumes at Linkkikeskus increase to winter levels.

Renovations are currently underway at Linkkikeskus and are scheduled to be completed in August. As part of the project, the bus stops on the Asema-aukio side will receive new, colorful glass panels, better weather protection, and more seating space. Due to the construction site, Linkkikeskus users are advised to exercise extra caution. The street can only be safely crossed via the crosswalks located at the intersections of Kilpisenkatu and Asemakatu.
