Waltti season ticket supported by Kela
In the Linkki public transport area, a season ticket loaded onto a Waltti travel card or the Waltti Mobiili app is the primary Kela-supported ticket for secondary school students.
Waltti season tickets are available for 30 days or 14 days.
- With a 30-day ticket, you can travel for 30 days in a row. The ticket is suitable for students who regularly travel to school by bus.
- With a 14-day ticket, you can travel for 14 days within a 30-day period. The ticket is suitable for students who have 10–14 school days per month.
The tickets are valid on Linkki public transport in payment zones ABC. They can also be used on regional transport services in Jyväskylä, Laukaa, Muurame, Äänekoski, Hankasalmi, Toivakka, and Petäjävesi that accept Waltti tickets.
The ticket is valid from the first time it is used. During the period of validity, the ticket can be used for an unlimited number of trips.

Travel cards and ticket loads can be purchased from the Waltti online store or Linkki service point. Tickets supported by Kela cannot be loaded on Linkki buses or at Waltti loading points in R-kiosks.

Benefits
Pram benefit
A guardian transporting a baby in a pram, stroller or similar bicycle trailer can travel free of charge on Linkki public transport. This benefit does not apply to the Linkki-VIP service in Jyväskylä.
No separate fee is charged for prams and strollers. The benefit does not apply to persons transporting children in sleds, baby carriers or similar equipment. Persons traveling with prams or strollers without children pay the normal ticket price for their journey.
Prams are placed in the middle of the bus; on regional buses, they are placed in the luggage compartment for the duration of the journey. If the space for prams on the bus is full, no more passengers with prams can be accepted on safety grounds.
Travel benefits for war veterans and disabled veterans
War veterans and disabled veterans (who fought in the Winter War, Continuation War, or Lapland War) are eligible for a free Waltti travel card at the Linkki service point. The travel card is valid for one year and entitles the holder to travel on Linkki public transport and Waltti regional transport services.
To start using the travel benefit, you need to visit a Linkki service point. When you visit, you'll need to bring your ID and your veteran or war invalid certificate or a certified copy of the original document. The certificate can be
- a military passport with a front-line soldier stamp
- a separate front-line service badge/certificate
- a KELA card with a photo and an R or MR badge
- a member card of the War Disabled Veterans Association
- a government decision on war disability.
Wheelchair passenger benefits
Wheelchair users travel free of charge on Linkki public transport low-floor vehicles on routes S1-S6 and 3-46. An assistant also travels free of charge with the customer.
Wheelchair users board the bus through the middle doors and travel in the seatless area in the middle of the bus. The condition for the assistant's free travel is that they accompany the customer for the entire journey and help them board, alight and secure their wheelchair. If the bus has a wheelchair ramp or ramp that can be lowered, the assistant is responsible for using it. If necessary, the driver can be asked to advise on the use of the ramp.
The benefit does not apply to regional transport or Linkki-VIP service transport. It also does not apply to persons traveling with a rollator. The benefit is available to persons with reduced mobility who need a wheelchair as a mobility aid. If this is not the case, and the customer is able to walk in and lift the wheelchair into the Linkki themselves, for example, they are not eligible for the benefit.
Assistance benefit for disabled customers
An assistant accompanying a disabled customer travels free of charge when the customer shows the driver their personal EU disability card marked with an A when boarding Linkki. The customer pays the ticket price corresponding to their user group. The benefit applies to all Linkki ticket products.
The benefit is only available with an EU disability card. The previous practice, whereby customers applied for a sticker indicating the benefit on their travel card each year at a Linkki service point, has been discontinued.
