Linkki timetables
Journey planner
The Journey Planner shows routes, timetables and stops for Linkki public transport. The service can be used on a mobile device, other smart devices or a computer.
No separate app installation or registration is required. Save the Journey Planner address to your smartphone’s home screen for quick access — it will then work much like an app.
Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox is the recommended browser. The Journey Planner runs on the open-source Digitransit routing platform, developed by HSL and Traficom.
The Journey Planner displays estimated stop times for Linkki services based on the timetable plan. The accuracy of these estimates depends on factors such as traffic conditions and the number of passengers boarding and alighting. During peak hours, travel typically progresses more slowly, and during quieter times, faster.
Real-time tracking data is available for buses currently in service. Real-time information appears in green next to the stop’s time details. You can also follow the bus on the Journey Planner map. If real-time data is not available, the Journey Planner will show the scheduled timetable estimates.
Linkki buses stop only to pick up or drop off passengers. If no one is waiting at the stop or getting off, the bus continues without stopping. Please arrive at the stop on time or follow the real-time stop information.
Fixed departure times apply only at the route’s starting stop and at certain timing stops, where buss waits for their scheduled departure time.
Stop-specific timetables service
In this service, you can look up stop timetables by searching for the stop name or by selecting a stop on the map. Each stop page shows the stop name, ID, fare zone, and all lines serving the stop with their schedules. By selecting a line, you can view its route on the map along with all stops along the way. The information is based on the Journey Planner data.
Timetable booklet
Free printed timetables available at distribution points
Linkki’s central city stops have returned to Vapaudenkatu, and the temporary Asemakatu stops are no longer in use. This also means that printed timetable booklets are once again available for free at distribution points. Timetables can also be checked in the Journey Planner or in the digital PDF version of the timetable booklet.
Below are the winter timetables:

Why isn’t the Linkki bus arriving?
Service does not always run exactly as planned. Weather conditions and traffic congestion, for example, can affect operations. At the moment, the Journey Planner shows only known, pre-announced disruptions such as detours and stop changes.
In the future, the Journey Planner will also display information about sudden service changes and delays. More comprehensive disruption notifications are planned to be introduced in the coming years.
